Live broadcasts in all countries around the world, billions of viewers, shock, and disbelief of commentators. When two planes struck the New York World Trade Center towers, we all probably realized that our world had changed irreversibly.

The Polish operators from the GROM unit were the quickest to prepare for the inevitable war in the Middle East. They began their exhaustive training still in Poland: jumps from a tanker into the turbulent waves of the Baltic Sea, capturing an oil platform, boarding training – all of this was meant to prepare them for the challenges during operations in the waters of the Persian Gulf.

For long months, their home would become a large hangar in the American base in Doha, their daily life would be barrages on the sun-scorched desert and dangerous operations in the waters of the Gulf.

Thanks to their dedication, professionalism, and hard work, they earned the friendship and brotherhood in arms of soldiers from the legendary NAVY SEAL unit. This mission is proof of how hard the GROM operators had to fight for their place in history.
